5 New Year's Resolutions Anyone Can Keep

Sometimes the 1st of January can feel like a mandatory time for growing, learning and other slightly cringy verbs. I’ve never been much for making new year’s resolutions, since often they are promises you wouldn’t normally make. If a goal is truly worth reaching, surely you can work for it despite a certain date on the calendar.

The Big Bang Theory

Some say it’s possible to cut your own bangs – at least if you are not intimidated by the countless horror videos on YouTube. According to the Internet even a professional beauty vlogger is capable of creating a true disaster, so I decided to leave the task to a professional. It was probably a good decision since I've never had bangs before. Let alone cut them.

The Puffer Jacket

When I was in middle school, my mother got me a huge puffer jacket. Just the thought of wearing it got me so nervous that I stayed up all night before going to school, and eventually, we had to return the damn thing. Now remembering that incident makes me laugh. Talk about first world problems! However, it’s crazy to think that many years later, I'm wearing a similar jacket voluntarily.

My Hair Routine

I’m constantly looking for ways to improve how I style and protect my hair. I’ve learned a lot by listening to professionals, doing my own research and of course, trying everything for myself. I've worked hair care into my everyday life, so it doesn't feel like a burden - quite the opposite!

The Embroidery Trend

Statement Sleeves

Ruffles and exaggerated sleeves have been everywhere throughout spring and summer. I’m all for over-sized items, but it took some time for me to warm up to ruffles. Too much of them can easily look a little frumpy and it seemed like a trend that would be over in a second.

It turned out that I just hadn’t found the right item. This shirt has the perfect amount of puff and the stripy fabric makes it look like a more feminine version of a classic cotton shirt. It also seems that we’ll see more statement sleeves in the fall season, so they are not just a thing of the moment.
